It was fantastic to have so many visitors to our site on Sunday 7th April. A dull day was no deterrent for people and we welcomed many new faces. Everyone was eager to take advantage of our new registration system and validated their ticket to give them unlimited return visits to the Museum for the rest of the season. We look forward to seeing them all again during the coming months.
Our narrow boat, Joseph Wilkes, ran throughout the day with a party of 12 taking advantage of the 45 minute lunchtime trip, right through to Donisthorpe, relaxing and eating their picnic on board. The ‘lunchtime cruise’ will run every day that we are open and it looks like it’s going to be popular. To avoid disappointment, contact us by phone or email and book your party ahead of your planned visit.
We hope to see many new and old faces during the next few weeks as the season gets underway.
