It's turning out to be a great season for us at Moira Furnace Museum and Country Park. We've had some fine weather, some well supported events and a mix of old and new visitors. We are amazed by the places that people visit from - many local families and others from locations around Europe and beyond.
Our visitor comments are very positive both in our museum visitor book and from those who kindly take the time to contact us after their visit. Both new and returning visitors have commented on the quality of our Museum displays and especially the work completed during last Winter offering new stories and information. They also appreciate the hard work put in by staff and volunteers to keep the whole of the site tidy and welcoming. Here is an excerpt from an email received last week:
'Please could you pass on to everyone concerned our thanks for providing a thoroughly
enjoyable and informative visit.
Your volunteer on duty in the museum was knowledgeable and welcoming,
and the whole site was beautifully restored and kept. The displays were
clear and helpful.
Thank you all again for a great afternoon.'
