After last years brilliant monthly Furnace Craft Fairs, despite the popularity, we have scaled back slightly. On Sunday 4th June we will hold our first craft fair of the year, highlighting the best of local arttistic arts and crafts from our wonderfully talented community.
This year, we will be hoping to bring more to the fair for the whole family, not just the museum, boat rides, and have-a-go crafts. If you run some children's entertainment and would be interested in joining us for the day, please get in touch: office@moirafurnace.org
Please remember, we now charge £1 for parking on event days to help build income for our charitable trust, which will be reinvested into the car parks and site. This year alone we have spent thousands of pounds resurfacing the paths and car parks and fixing potholes whilst seeing no income from those cars that cause the damage. We want to keep parking free so this is our solution.
